Gumang Hill Trekking

Gumang hill is located in Bugbug village, between the road of Candidasa and Amlapura in Karangasem district. This hill is facing the great Agung Mountain and Lombok strait in the east. So you able to see the beautiful scenery from the Agung Mountain and Lombok Strait as well. If you are lucky, you may able to see the Rinjani Mountain and Lombok island. Gumang hill does not include as a tourist resort, so you do not need to pay the entry. You can reach the top of Gumang Hill is around 40 minutes and you can start from trkking the hilll side. In the top of Gumang hill, you find the old temple that known as a “Pura Bukit gumang”. You also meet the monkeys in around of heels, so you have to watch you stuffs because sometime the monkeys are look for the foods. In daytime you can see the beach scenery as well, but the best scenery of Gumang hill is around early morning. You can see the amazing sunrise from the hill especially during the dry seasons. It is around in April to October.
